wonderful picture!! It really feels like a Miyasaki epic story. Did the pitch go well?

The story is loosely based from a Philippine folklore and the pitch went well. I got some notes from the Sony execs and writers to help develop more the characters. That was during my down time. Now that I'm on to another feature and a personal project on the side, I'm putting it on the back burner. Hopefully I would be able to find time in the future, go over it again with those notes in mind and do another pitch. We'll see. Thanks David.

Wow... before I even read your comment, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your picture was an Indonesian rainforest (that's where I'm from originally). It's amazingly lovely... reminds me of home. Thanks Armand!

That is -beautiful-. It reminds me of the hills near my hometown - in fact, there is one huge limestone range that's very close to the house. You can see it from my parents' bedroom window - in the mornings, when it's all misty and just emerging from the sleep of landscapes between dusk and dawn, it's another mysterious world.

Yay on the pitch going well! I hope one day you can do more with it!

This illustration is so charming.

The style is fresh and loose but at the same time it evokes lots of details. You really can feel that something is happening there, and want to know more..

Sweet, Armand!!! ;)
