The story is loosely based from a Philippine folklore and the pitch went well. I got some notes from the Sony execs and writers to help develop more the characters. That was during my down time. Now that I'm on to another feature and a personal project on the side, I'm putting it on the back burner. Hopefully I would be able to find time in the future, go over it again with those notes in mind and do another pitch. We'll see. Thanks David.
Wow... before I even read your comment, the first thing that came to my mind when I saw your picture was an Indonesian rainforest (that's where I'm from originally). It's amazingly lovely... reminds me of home. Thanks Armand!
That is -beautiful-. It reminds me of the hills near my hometown - in fact, there is one huge limestone range that's very close to the house. You can see it from my parents' bedroom window - in the mornings, when it's all misty and just emerging from the sleep of landscapes between dusk and dawn, it's another mysterious world.
Yay on the pitch going well! I hope one day you can do more with it!
Beautiful like always Armand... Hey my friend..whe nyou have 2 min..could you please ceck my storyboard to my blog, and give me some fee back ? http://angelolibuttistoryboards.blogspot.com/ Keep with the beautiful art work Angelo
Nice man. Such impressive work. You are a true talent my friend. Love the recent color work as well. I was aware of your mastery of tone and shape . . .but your color sense is awesome and constantly blows me away.
Very cool concept! Your work always packs a strong punch, even before I click to see the higher res version! Hopefully this project gets going in the future.
The style is fresh and loose but at the same time it evokes lots of details. You really can feel that something is happening there, and want to know more..
