Beach From Tarzan

The first artwork is an underlay level I did for a scene from Tarzan. The foliage was purposely detailed since it's a pan set-up and needs to see details in the background as camera pans. I don't remember what exactly this scene is for but I'm sure it's towards the end of the movie. Too bad, I can't find the bg for this so I imported the file to Photoshop and made it into a quick beach painting.

Nice,

I like the way you added the palm trees in the foreground. It really helps with the overall piece. By the way, I'm adding a link to you from my blog. Good stuff Armand.

Beautiful! I'm with Marcelo, if only I knew how to, I'd definitely go surfing there, what a beautiful place. Very appealing colors and I love the foreground/background elements you added to the colored version, it gives it nice depth. Nice touch with the birds too.
How long did it take you to do the coloring?

Btw, thanks for stopping by my photoblog, it's much appreciated:) I'm going to Savannah GA with my new camera this weekend, so hopefully I'll have a bunch of pics. to post next week.

Take care and have a great weekend:)

Thanks guys and for your question Hans, it took me an hour to do the painting on Photoshop. Can't wait to see a lot of good Savannah photos on your blog soon. Have a safe trip.

What can I say, you are an excellent artist, passionate about your craft but you're also an awesome Dad, a wonderful husband and a great person. (I guess, you bloggers, also have to know that!!)
