©ArmandSerrano.
Always had the urge to draw a volcanic eruption. So late last night, I had the chance and here's it is. All in PS.

It's beautiful. So very different then what you'd expect to get if you asked someone to "draw an eruption".

Instead of just a close up of glowing orange lava spewing we get to see the lush, green terrain that's about to be transformed forever.

Cheers!

Good lord wow.
Were the shapes of the grass and water painted freehand or did you use the lasso tool and some transforming? So much to learn.

Thanks guys.

Hey TOM,

I used the lasso tool just to set the basic shape and placement of the water on the foreground. Then detailed edges were added almost towards the end by freehand. Thanks.
