woww...very very powerful...great use of colors and composition. Feels like a still from a film.
Very striking! I like the colours you chose :)
Armand, very powerful piece. and i agree with Shuku and Andrew, the angle makes this shot. brilliant as always.
WOW!! Great dramatic and dynamic!! AWESOME!!
Thanks, guys. I want to play with the idea that almost the whole time in the story, we're looking down on David at the valley giving the perception that he's the underdog. But when he killed Goliath, armor bearer falls to the ground. From his point of view, we see David in an upshot for the first time. The brushes also play a big part in this shot. They are purposely designed like people raising their hands in worship.
I LOVE IT!
very strong image. nice.
this is an incredible blog armando. from composition to values to color choices, great job. I will continue to come here, nice work!
Aw man ! - great . Love the drama and composition . The play in shape works really well with the large shape of Goliath acting as a grand stage for David .The black ink work is really working well with the colours again . Makes for a great style and feel to the image overall . I hope your going to do a book with all these images from your project inside . Put me down for one if you do .
Thanks again for the comments.Yes, Simon, it's already in the works. Part of the marketing for this project will be a compilation of the designs complete with research and explanations. Target date would be comic-con 2007. We should talk more about this.
Oh wow, such great work. Thanks for commenting on my own blog. This David and Goliath piece is awesome. Love the composition and depth.
