RIP Frank Frazetta (1928-2010)

I would like to make an exception and post a master's illustration in memory of this genius. If there's one artist we greatly admire and keep trying to emulate, it's good old Frank Frazetta. Sad day...

  3. It is a sad day in that Frank Frazetta has now crossed over into the pages of art history. All that he has done, he has done, all that he had painted, has been painted -- the book is now closed.

But, it's also a day of celebration. Frazetta's contributions to the world of fantasy art are immense. What greater tribute could there be, for any artist, than to know your legacy and influence continues to live in every inspired heart? A living tribute of inspiration that continues to echo with every fresh eye that gazes upon this master's work.

    Godspeed Frank Frazetta.

  5. Artists such as Frazetta paved the road for future generations of artists and culture. I can not think of any area of art that Frazetta has not influenced.

    RIP Frazetta
