©Disney.
A couple of Brother Bear BG Layouts. The first image was for the scene when Kenai wakes up for the first time as a bear. I forgot what the second one was for.

  8. Andrei,
This is the last one we finished and actually released in the theaters but not the last project. We started working on My Peoples right after Brother bear but it was cancelled after a year of production a few months prior to shutting down the studio. Thanks for the comment and keep in touch.

  11. Wow Armand, That's amazing!!! I instantly get the urge to draw and better myself when you post stuff like this. Imitating natures random shapes and formations, is one of the hardest things to do when designing outdore environments and you did a superb job on these.

I've been really busy with work lately, but am now trying to concentrate a little more on the music. I'll be working on a new piece this weekend and will send it to you as soon as it's done.
As for the "David and Goliath" project, is there any special composer or genre you have in mind? Something I can keep in mind when setting the mood and style?
You can of course always shoot me an email, to avoid unwanted spoilers on the blog;)

Take care and have a great weekend.

  12. Greetings all the way from South East Asia! I found your blog (and Marcos' and Marcelo's) through El Pacifico. Your work is absolutely -beautiful-, and every time I need some inspiration to sketch, I just go look at some of those El Pacifico layouts. Sigh. Some day. Some day I will draw as well as that, but I'm getting a bit old for it :)
